More info on fuel consumption: both engines 8-12 knots It drops quite drastically if you run alternate engines every hour (P-1hr then S-1hr ). If you bring the throttle back to 7-10knot you reduce the consumption by 50%. Those figures include running the genset. If you don’t run the Genset you save a Gal per hour. Running on 1 engine. You reduce by 30% if running on two.
She red lines at 2400. Cruise speed is 1000-1200 On voyages entering and leave port on both engines, get her up to cruise speed and then I reduce the revs on one engine for an hour, then alternate. I never shut off the engine. I normally always have the genset running unless at anchor

This Hershine Marquessa 62 comes to the market as an excellent opportunity for a liveaboard and extending cruising in luxury.
She has four huge cabins ( 2 staterooms with island bed, another double and a twin bunk), a large well appointed Galley, 2 saloons, 4 heads with shower, a storeroom with washing machine and dryer, aft deck, flybridge, proper engine room and a train set! She really is an amazing amount of room on the water.
Power comes from two rebuilt in 2010 GM Detroit Diesel 650hp engines to get everyone out to sea comfortably.
At the stern of the flybridge you will find a crane that can lift a small rib or jet ski.
Her current owner has maintained her well over the last 16 years but just isn't getting the chance to use her.
