When I first saw her I immediately knew I was looking at a boat that meant business, her smooth Italian lines gave her a stylish elegance but it was coupled with a look of intimidation provided by her Silver Grey paintwork. This was definitely a boat of distinction, a true Baglietto, and well worth taking a little time to find out more about her. It turns out that this 23M2 was custom built in 1983 for an owner with a great appreciation for speed and handling, Baron John Von Neumann, who made his fortune distributing Porsche in the USA. According to the Baron, “a boat is not a house but a vehicle and a vehicle must move quickly”, so he made sure his were built that way. Speaking of the baron, Pietro Baglietto said: “This customer is a truly demanding perfectionist.” The baron’s different yachts, whose names reflect his attraction to Native American culture, have very special characteristics and one of them is the militaristic grey liveries, and I really hope this one keeps her true colours.
If you are leaving your boat on a mooring for long periods of time, using this chain and warp line prevents chafe and gives you peace of mind that in rough weather your boat wont wear through its mooring line.
Boatshed goes Responsive! Today, nearly 30% of Boatshed's traffic is mobile. By the end of next year, this may exceed 50% Tablet sales are expected to exceed 100 million this year. Smartphones, of course, are also a hot commodity, with the majority of people now owning a smartphone. The shift to mobile is happening at an extraordinary speed. For those of us who create the Boatshed websites and services, all this leads to a singular conclusion: A million screens have bloomed, and we need to build websites that work better on all of them.

Whilst Gambling in Cyprus is currently illegal the Cyprus President, Nicos Anastasiades has recently declared that he is prepared to allow casinos to operate in Cyprus in an effort to boost revenue. It’s hardly likely to turn the island into a Las Vegas type resort but it is a major step toward offering more facilities for tourists.
Cyprus after the banking crisis is still alive and kicking as people turned out in their thousands to attend a charity concert. Admission to the day-long event in Nicosia- organised by Cyprus Aid - was free but revellers were asked to donate items, such as food and clothing, which could be distributed to the city's poor and unemployed. Volunteers were overwhelmed with hundreds of boxes of donations. One said: "We are doing this to help people and we want to send a message to people abroad that if we are united we can make things happen," Concert organiser, Nicko Zavallis, said the response from local people to the event had been "amazing". "We did not expect this outcome," he said. "People have been coming with trucks. Instead of a bag, they have been filling up trucks of goods and they have been bringing it to us."

Boatshed Brixham and Dartmouth are delighted to offer for sale a Sealine SC38. Stepping onboard I was immediately struck by the amount of wood that Sealine have used throughout the boat. The cockpit is very well laid out with more than enough seating and this is good comfortable seating too. All too often seats seem to be an after thought on boats not really taking into account just how the area will be used. In this case you can sit with friends, talk and watch the BBQ at the same time. The engine bay is easily accessed and stepping down into the engine bay it is really easy to access the major items. The twin 300hp D4 will whip you along at a satisfying 34 knots. As you might imagine for a boat of this age it is immaculate in the engine bay. However, it’s below decks in the main saloon and galley area that really sets this boat apart. The large overhead skylight floods the saloon with light and there are also large rectangular ports to let even more light in. The woodwork below is washed walnut and the cabin doors have that satisfying solid feel to them. In summary I can do not better than quote Motor Boat Monthly whose verdict was –“Sealine's SC series is officially the most exciting thing to happen to sportscruisers in years.” Appointments to view can be booked in advance 6-days a week directly with Paul Singer your Boatshed Dartmouth broker.
